Killing Texas Bob, book eighteen in the Ranger Series by Ralph Cotton

One Hell Of A Hand
That's what Texas Bob Krey holds during a winning card game at the Sky High Saloon. But a local cattleman refuses to leave the table a loser. He draws his revolver and starts a fight in which two men are killed before Bob shoots him in self-defense. Unfortunately the local law has in for Bob, and charges him with murder. So he has no choice but to hightail it out of town.
The arrival of Judge Henry Bass, the brother of  the man Bob killed, makes matters worse. Bass wants to put a noose around the fugitive's neck - if bounty hunters don't finish the job first. Now it's up to Arizona Ranger Sam Burrack to find Bob before the killers do.
